A good pro day could potentially move him into a late 6-7 round pick. Not as likely but still possible!

I have a cousin that played at unk and he was getting some calls from some nfl scouts, and he was going to think about going to the university of Nebraska pro day... I didn't know he could do that....
i also think someone was trying to scam him... He was originally to go to a all star game in Minneapolis, then this scout he was listening to told him he needed to go to one in Mexico... Like middle Mexico, not on the beach.. He didnt end up going..
indont know what he is thinking now...
What price tag? Teams can offer him the league minimum if they wanted. He will get more than that somewhere though. He's not going to quit football just because he wants more money... He'd make even less doing that.
What is the league minimum for him? He has shown a very low ceiling outside of New England. He and Kevin Kolb have been two of the most overblown replacement QBs I can remember.
I agree soem stupid team will pick him up. At this point Jantz may be a cheaper and more effective option for most teams. Cassell really does not deserce a roster spot on any team IMO.
I really hope I eat crow for this because i do like Jantz a lot and wish him the best, but even mentioning his name and the NFL is the same sentence is asinine. Even if he showed well in the pro day, every pro style QB looks good at there pro day. The film is always the final say.
I do think McDonough will be on a team. He killed it this year!
Players from other schools can ask to participate at another schools pro day. I know we have had guys from Drake at ours.
Everyone should be doing everything they can to sign (at least) a 1 year deal. League minimum is over $300,000.
Even if jantz does impress the scouts at his pro day, its unlikely he will out perform his poor game film.
Rivals had Knott at running a 4.6..I'm curious to see what his speed four years and a good twenty pounds later is like.
