    I also like it because I get a chance to actually watch other games on Saturday. I love college football but my watching of it has gone way down since I started attending regularly.

    I'd bet $ this game will be on ESPN. They have a deal with the Big 12 to show so many Thursday night games a year and UT and ESPN are butt buddies.

    I could take a thursday game, what sucks is our overall schedule going along with it. So few home games in september, and after the iowa game we wont have a saturday home game until Oct 26.

    What stinks is we only have 6 home football games and with Texas on Thursday night means we only have 5 Saturday home games. I would be more ok with it if we had 7 home games this year.

    This is SO awesome. My brother is back from China during this time. He and his wife could not attend if it was on Saturday due to a conflict - now they can go. He got to one game last season and she has not been to a game since the '11 season.

    It's likely either ESPN or Fox Sports 1. That's what is probably yet to be decided.

    Good for program national attention. Bad for fans that need to drive into the game and have to work on Thursday and Friday. Tailgating is one of the best experiences of the fall and this completely ruins it.
