Re: Texas Considering selling alcohol at football games...
No reason not to. Fans are already drinking and\or drunk in the stadium, might as well make some money from it.

Re: Texas Considering selling alcohol at football games...
Glad to see Texas getting creative to find ways to make some money. It's been tough sledding for them lately.

Re: Texas Considering selling alcohol at football games...
I think it's ridiculous that we aren't able to buy alcohol for football and basketball games. Hopefully this gets changed in the future.

Sorry, but I don't want to see what could happen at the end of a game like last week's against KU if the crowd were to have ready access to alcohol in the arena. No thanks.

This is a move to one up A&M. Keep the Tavern fan in UT's court.

Re: Texas Considering selling alcohol at football games...
Neat trick. Point at ISU, say "they get to do it, why can't we?" so that they can do it. Hopefully once they start selling it, we can do the same thing.
They say that English surnames came from what you did with your life. I'm so glad my last name isn't Dickinson. -

What was the part saying we sell alcohol at our games? I didn't think we did that.

Re: Texas Considering selling alcohol at football games...
It's for sale in the suites at Jack Trice. I wish our board of regents was like MN's and said "all or nothing" Us common-folk need a good $6 beer now and again too. I'd gladly spend money on a few beers at halftime so I didn't have to walk back to my car.

Honestly it would have a huge impact financially and through keeping the fans in the seats for the second half kickoff.

Fans are already drinking. ISU sells alcohol to many as is in the club, johnny's and stage door, and many sneak their own in.
