Hmm... has Pollard contacted Vermeil about donating to ISU athletics???
| Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

Bowen probably told him to wear it or else. That is pretty good since he isn't even the coach for the ISU players.

He's getting up there in age, maybe he mistook it for a chiefs hat.

They do enjoy showing Cyclones in the pictures they have from practice. 4/14 pictures from this gallery have ISU players in them and they look like they are doing good things as well.

Tuba has been by far our best NFL draft prospect all year. TOTALLY under-appreciated as a Cyclone.

If Tarvaris Jackson, Vinny Testaverde and Chris Weinke can start in the NFL it wouldn't be too shocking to see Bret Meyer on a practice squad. Tarvaris Jackson is proving himself, Vinny Testaverde is a whole different story and Chris Wienke started one game for the 49ers this year I think because they lost everyone else due to QBs getting hurt. Otherwise Chris Wienke wouldn't have seen an PT...I wish Meyer could cut it but I don't think he has a shot!

Tarvaris is proving himself alright.... to be a completely inaccurate passer and injury-prone to boot. :(

Also id guess only 2 to 3 QB's get selected per round in the draft so #20(regardless of who the player is) probably doesnt put him in the draft. Not many recievers in the NFL with 4.8 speed.

I think all you guys that are counting Blythe out are dead wrong. The guy can just plain catch the ball while bein mugged and has good enough speed to make it. He is not TO, but teams will take a chance on a guy like him.

I wish all our graduate Cyclones the best of luck! I hope they all can make it to the NFL, not likely, but if it is their dream and they have the heart to go after it, I hope they can get a taste.

There's one thing that the pro scouts like, and thats not dropping any balls. Speed comes second, but the ability to catch the ball is most important. Blythe can make great catches, but won't burn anyone in a foot race. I think he could be useful on a team like the Vikings where some of the receivers have catching problems (see Troy Williamson). Blythe will catch every pass thrown at him without contact, and he can still make plenty of catches while getting mugged.
