Re: ISU sends 3 to the East/West shrine game...Vermeil wearing ISU hat

Does anyone know why Vermeil would be wearing an ISU hat? That is awesome none the less....

Blythe will catch every pass thrown at him without contact, and he can still make plenty of catches while getting mugged.
Please let the Vikings draft Blythe......he's one of the many pieces they are missing. Not sure what his speed was like, but maybe Blythe could be another Ed McCaffrey (from the Broncos).

No idea, maybe Pollard, Sanderson, Chizik, and Bowen all ganged up on him and he is taking over for our one assistant coach who had to leave . . . lol, wouldn't that be great

can you say Jacksonville..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

DE - Chase Ortiz
DT - Derek Lokey
DT - Athyba Rubin
DE - Tommy Blake

LB - Scott Derry
LB - David Vobora
LB - Alvin Bowen

Also at defensive back, they think Dwight Lowery and Justin Tyron have locked up the starting cornerback spots
Rivals projected starters on D.

I don't think Blythe blocks well enough for the Vikings to seriously consider him. I've also heard some concern for his route running ability. Someone might take a look at him just based on size and production in college, but if he's drafted it's going to be one of the late rounds (6 or 7).

Athyba is considered easily a top 10 inside tackle prospect with his combination of size and speed.
