ISU Roster (1/16/08) - Sortable Spreadsheet

Very Simple. No rocket science here. Data taken from cyclones.com . I just wanted a sortable roster that worked better than the one there.

EXAMPLE: Hit the drop-down arrow on POS and look at just our OL

Virus-Free, according to Symantec Anti-Virus

Very nice. The only question I have is what's the difference between the pink and yellow highlighting?

It just separates the Sr/Jr/So/Fr, so when you sort by POS it is easy to look at.

The one thing that gives me hope looking at it in a class perspective is a lot of our production is and will come from the underclassmen. Developing talent, now that's coaching son.

Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town'

I found some interesting classes listed there--Alvarez still a soph, and Tate a junior? Hmmm.

Thanks!

On cyclones.com Franklin is listed as a junior, and he was in one of the participation reports. Yet I know Chizik in one of his interviews, can't remember which one, called CF a JC we redshirted last year. The site isn't always right as it took a whole season for people to realize Dedrick was a junior and not a soph last year.

TE is a position of concern for me. I think Catlett can move back and perform well, and then there's the unknown in Franklin....and thats it. Bykowski and Hammerschmidt seem like guys that will RS and perhaps switch positions. I would like Chiz to move Travis Ferguson over to TE like Nick Howe as he isn't gonna play any at DE, he has good TE size, and is pretty athletic as he played b-ball at Waterloo East...a pretty good b-ball school.
