it would be a huge steal at a position that needs help.... doubtful that we would get him with michigan, lsu, florida and the likes after him, but if we could thats a huge impact player
It would be even better to get him. He is a Top 250 Player. With Bo Williams on board and if we would somehow land Johnson that would make two Top 250 ballplayers. Different years but still both Top 250. Probably the first time that would have happened in a long time at ISU.
The real teasers are when they say a player is committed to us, then 2 weeks later he verbals to somewhere else.
rumor has it that the 4star WR who has verballed to Texas A&M is reconsidering his options and maybe pull out of his verbal to a&m... ISU is listed as one of his highest intrest schools, and if we can get this 6'4 200 pound wide out in for a visit that would be tremendous.....

Not getting my hopes up.
The guy has other offers from atleast LSU, Michigan, and Arizona State. That's tough company for us but this guy signing with us would make me very happy. This guy is like Todd Blythe on steroids from the looks of it. 4.5 speed, 40 inch vertical. :Daydreams:
it would be an improbably but HUGE add.... i say its about damn time something goes right for us
if we do get him and he's as good or better than Blythe and they dont throw the ball to him I'm gonna be real mad, cause Blythe go screwed his junior and senior year, I hope he gets a chance to play quality time in the NFL
