Re: FB Tickets and NCC info at Cyclones.com

Cyclones.com is having a bad week. Some downtime and connectivity problems. Bad info and linky-no-worky.

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more cowbell.

I don't believe I'll be messing around with this. If I didn't have to sign to that as well as ISU doing the same, I'd probably do it.
Yeah trying to get ISU a few more $$$ or yourself some better seats is probably not worth getting fired over. I bet employers would look down on this sorta thing.

Wow, I did not think it was this soon. I better start saving my quarters in my swear jar for my NCC membership. They should at least wait till everyone gets their tax returns so we can just donate that :)

I actually talked to ISU about this....i.e. a way to get around showing it is an "athletic" donation so I can get my company to match. ISU told me there was no way...it would be exposed to my company what the donation was and what benefits it gives.

I am 22 and just graduated. I forget the name (ambassador?), but isn't there a different set of levels for people 21-28? I don't see that on the membership form

My work only matches at 80% because of the parking pass and other items that are included.

Yeah if your work doesnt allow for it then dont obviously. But people should all check to find out if it works.

Yes there is it is called Varsity. And ISU does a horrible job promoting it.

Believe me....at the level I donate, I checked and checked again. My company does have a matching gives program, BUT this donation falls outside the requirements unfortunately.

That is why I called ISU and asked if there are any loopholes that wouldn't expose the benefits received by making this donation and they said no.

Jamie Pollard told me last year that they weren't going to. This will be my last year for cheaper football tickets, so I hope not. I give more $ for donation, but pay the less expensive football ticket price right now. I was banking on one more year of that so we could increase our giving level this year to secure our seats.

I don't see anything about Varsity on the order form. Did they get rid of it? Maybe i'll just have to call them

Maybe no Varsity donation level, but still cheaper tickets? I would be a-ok with that.

I believe historically the Varsity level has been synonomous with Century in terms of seating and benefits.

It's just a donor level - not anything regarding tickets. A PERK of Varsity is you get 2:1 tickets. Not cheaper. (it works out cheaper, but not like you can get just one at half price)
