On a one day basis, 10 degree difference is not that big of a deal. But on average 10 deg. is a very big difference.

People in Iowa tend to underestimate how cold it is there. After moving away, to some more mild climates, I've realized how cold it is in Iowa. For someone from TX or FL, that is a pretty big deal.

After it goes below 10, it probably does not matter. Yet football is played in the warmer fall.

I really don't understand why some of you guys are blasting GC on recruiting. Don't you think he would like to get 12 5 star guys in this class? Do you think he is happy about the decommits? He and his coaching staff are out there trying to get the best players they can to come to ISU. It probably has not been as easy to get guys to ISU as GC thought when he came here. The guy is a fighter, and will not quit recruiting until the last allowable second. In the end, a couple weeks from now, it will all be over and you guys can start rating the player that actually did commit.
