No more Danny White....
He gone...............
UAB got his verbal today so its on to the next linebacker prospect....which appears to be Kevin Hamlin with him visiting last weekend, expect to hear that commit soon....
I also see that Alex Pattee who really had the look of an impact type athlete, has decided to stay in florida (Florida Atlantic).
I know Chiz is recruiting speed, and overall that was mentioned by him as the biggest need for this team, improve overall team speed. Bowen and Banks made a lot of plays simply because of speed and i hope our recruits from last year produce and they have the athletic ability and have faith that our coaches will make them into ballers.....

Re: No more Danny White....
I have a feeling that Hamlin had moved up on the list for ISU. White was quoted in a rivals article that he would like to visit ISU, but he hasn't been invited for a visit yet, which makes me think that the couaches were after other players ahead of him, especially Hamlin.

Re: No more Danny White....
Gary Barnett, ex Colorado coach,o said on ESPN today that verbals are not worth much. Stay on the Blackberry and hold your breath till signings come in. Everyone out there is trying to steal each othe's players if the opportunity is right.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: No more Danny White....
there is still plenty of time for him to de-commit to UAB and come to ISU.

Re: No more Danny White....
IMO i think kevin hamlin is a better player... white is still good dont get me wrong, but if we can get hamlin instead of white, thats all the better

Yah know what, White was supposed to be the heir to Staubach's throne in Dallas and it never paned out. Furthermore he's a QB with only marginal arm strength in Tecmo Bowl. I say we arent missing much.
We are really better off letting Arnaud and Bates duke it out for the position.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers -

Further, if we can get Gary Hogeboom to commit, he could spend the next couple of years learning from DW.
