I guess he was one of the best running backs in the state of Florida 2 years ago, got hurt, and hasn't seen the field. And with the spread offense they are now running, with Tebow as the featured back, he decided to get out.
A current coach at Iowa State had recruited him out of high school while he was on a different coaching staff. The kid liked him and thought to give him a call and see if he could transfer.
I believe they have processed all the necessary documents, and he is currently on campus.
He will have to sit out a year, but he will have 3 years left to play. Could be a great pickup!!
I think his name is Bo Williams, but I'm not 100% sure. I thought the only people that didn't know he was transferring here were dead or Hawk fans. -

There is this new coach I think we are close to getting for Football, rumor is it's been our choice from day one. I don'tknow if any of you guys know, but we have all his papers, and I believe his name is Gene Chizik, correct me if I'm wrong. Just thought you guys might like to know this!! (sarcasm)

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -

You just got caught up in the excitement Bo Williams brought this board. Do a quick search before you post...it's amazing what people know here, and how fast they know it.
I've done the same thing as you before. Just make sure your next post doesn't let us in on some ineligible German BBall phenom you've heard whisperings about. Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect. -

Welcome aboard, I think you'll like it here!

So, out of curiosity, will his rep suddenly jump from 0 to who knows how much once that first week or two is gone? That will be rather hilarious.

Re: rb transfer from florida
Hell, I just recently started coming back and I haven't heard about him.
Is he really coming here or is it still speculation?
He'll have to sit out next year but it's good to know we won't have to hunt for a feature back after JJ is gone. But poor Alexander Robinson.
