Season Tickets and 29 year olds
If you turn 30 this year after 8/1/08 you are still eligible for the Varsity pack football tickets (limit 2 @ $195/each).
My season ticket renewal form had mine for full price. I called the ticket office and they told me to cross of the price and put $195 per and my total. Also, I have to enclose a copy of my drivers license. I am going to write a note on it that I will not turn 30 until after the cut-off date listed of 8/1/08.
If you turn 30 this year - double check your forms!
BTW - I about threw up when he asked me the date I turn 30 and I had to say September 30th. It was a first.

Nothing wrong with being 30!
Re: Season Tickets and 29 year olds
And it is a privledge to pay full price. I never even knew about that program when I was in my 20's or I would have taken advantage of it every year!
Re: Season Tickets and 29 year olds
Oddly enough, my wife and I both turned 30 last fall and my renewal form had two of our four tickets listed at $195... I am planning on calling the ticket office this week to clarify. Of course, this will be our second relocation (due to construction - we moved last year in anticipation of be forced to move this year, into another suite re-appropriated set of seats...) so I just figured we were getting a break...
I'm almost certain that's not the case...

And a privilege to pay a lot of taxes too I suppose. They didn't have that program when I was in my 20's.
Re: Season Tickets and 29 year olds
You can donate MORE than the minimum to be in the Varsity club... and still get the Varsity price.
at least I did.
Re: Season Tickets and 29 year olds
I wondered how this works, I'm getting close to this cutoff as well. Thanks for the info.
Re: Season Tickets and 29 year olds
Just marry a much younger woman and have the tickets transferred into her name so u can continue to get the varsity club price on the tickets. Worked well for me anyway.

We donate $500 and do the lower price tickets. I was hoping for one more year before we had to up the price. So, I am happy!
