Johnson by the numbers.....

LJ, if your reading this consider the numbers game.

Your final three ISU, Ole Miss and West Virginia....where to go.....

Iowa State has to be your choice and heres the justification!!!!!

Our current roster has only 5 true corners on it....and two of those are seniors.....so, for 2009, we would have 3 corners plus you and T'Ran.......Definately playing major minutes in 2009 if not in 2008. Of our current corners, i would consider 1 has the ability to compete at the top level which is the Big 12, 1 decent player and three players you and Benton will start over year 1. Meaning, with the number of 3,4,5 wide receiver sets we see, your not watching this fall, your starting!!!!

Ole Miss:
Ole miss has 15 DB's currently on their roster with only 1 senior. Plus, they have 8 other db's currently committed.

West Virginia has 24 Db's on their roster with only 6 seniors, plus they've recruited two other dbs already committed.

To me, the numbers speak volumes LJ.....you, benton and land could form the nucleus of our secondary for the next 4 years and you will see the field in 2008. Based on the numbers, your competition for playing time at either ole miss or wvu will be extremely difficult. Nothing against either school, its just a position that right now, they're full....

See you on opening day in JTS - it will be fun watching you grow into a star!!!!!!!!

Re: Johnson by the numbers.....

doube LJ will ever know anything about this post, but its absolute truth... for LJ and T'Ran, they need to realize that they will either redshirt or get playing time in 5 DB sets in '08, but from '09 on they could possibly be our starting corners... thats essentially 3 years of guaranteed playing time... you wont get that anywhere else

why do the flag in jack trice always fly to the east?
-cuz the hawks suck, and the huskers blow

Don't be so sure, got a neighbor who's nephew is a really good linebacker in Wyoming, said that he checks these types of boards all the time, my neighbor thought it fed his ego a bit.

I do think these guys check out these message boards and talk with the fellas about whats being said.....just like edwards and his momma.....

I do know that several recruits read this board, and Grant Mahoney is a pretty big fan of it. Hopefully, they read this and decide to come to ISU since we have such good fans.

Exactly. It would be nice if people remembered this when going guns blazing on our players/staff.

Because many people visit here often.

I'd be all over these boards if I was a player. It'd be great entertainment.
