Ron Prince is just making whoever the next KSU coach more and more mad.
This is the second kid he has tried to pull a scholarship from in order to get him to grayshirt.
First, Joe Caprioglio, a 3* OL, would up at CSU, undoubtedly pissed at KSU and Prince.
Now, Prince did the same thing to 2* Brayden Burris, from Witchita. According to the K-State beat writer at the Wichita Eagle, ( K-Stated » The Wichita Eagle’s Jeffrey Martin takes you inside K-State sports) (sorry, don't know how to link on this board) he will likely end up at ISU.
Here's his profile: Scout.com: Brayden Burris Profile Brayden Burris Profile - Football Recruiting | | |

Thanks for the info. If Burris comes to ISU, looks like he'll be spending plenty of time at the training table & in the weight room...

6'5" is a HELLA good frame for a football player. Depends what position he'll play of course.

Needs major strength....Rivals shows his bench as only 250. That's pretty puny for a guy that size. Good frame though.

6-7 230 Scout
6-6 260 Wichita Eagle’s
6-5 250 Rivals
the middle one being the most recent.

I bench 250 lbs and I weigh 170. Not very impressive.

Too many hs OL can put up numbers in the weight room, but don't know how to use their hands and feet to actually block someone. This kid knows how to gain and maintain position on the guy he is blocking. The lifting numbers can be addressed much easier than trying to correct agility and footwork issues.

Sorry, but 6'7" 230 lbs. won't win be anything I am excited unless it is for GMAC and the kid is an animal. For an offensive tackle this has to be pure potential.

And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

Sorry but bench dont mean ****. A bench press is no indication of a persons strength. Its just chest and shoulders right? maybe a lil bit of arm strength? Why dont they start showing players power clean numbers? Isnt that a better way to figure out how powerful a person if. I am by no means an expert, its just my opinion.

Look at Kyle Turley. The man played at OT in the NFL the last couple years weighing around 260 (per what he said on Jim Rome)
