With Bo this class probably jumps up to 10th.
With Grant, Marshall and King this class is close to top half.
We were a LOT closer

Wont matter when we kick em out of their jocks on the field. | Harriet Michaels: Do you actually like haggis? Charlie Mackenzie: No, I think it's repellent in every way. In fact, I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare.

Well, if in 3 years we are last in the Big12, then these are accurate.

Hopefully we can snag Jordan Fields, they're talking about him right now on ESPN2.

Considering that several of our recruits are immense sleepers that no one had heard of (like Laing and Hammerschmidt), I don't really care. I trust Chizik's evaluations. Obviously, so do the other coaches in the conference--since they keep poaching off us.
Besides, nobody makes less of what they get than Baylor.

if carlson is as fast as we hear then he will probably do the kick returns... im really high on the offense now... we return basically the whole O-line, a-rob and bass are solid a RB, arnaud will be a step up from meyer, and now look at the WR's 1.Hamilton 2.Johnson 3.Sumerall 4.Carlson, now we can afford to redshirt a guy like Lonzie Range and give him more time to bulk up and rehab that ACL injury so he can be ready for 4 years as a stud WR.
Defensively our secondary just got a lot better with benton and johnson, i also think tiller will become a safety as will darks. the d-line looks good, returning kurtis taylor and rashon parker, and i think ruempolhamer and haughton will end up playing DT along with Jerrod Black, Micheal Tate etc. LB is still a concern b/c i dont see anyone in this class making immediate impact... ferguson and hamlin may be good down the road but need a redshirt year to get bigger.... jesse smith will obviously be the MLB, but raven, garrin, schmidgall, bibbs, etc need to step up at OLB...
i see a 6 or 7 win season and a respectable bowl game

The truth of the matter is.......it can't be easy picking ISU as your school if you're a highly recruited football player; especially if you choose ISU over other instate schools in Texas, Florida, etc.... For this reason alone, I am very impressed with Leonard, Ter'ran, Sedrick and the rest of these guys without even seeing them on the field.
A guy like Sedrick Johnson could have gone to a lot of good schools that have had a lot more success in football; however, he chose the CYCLONES!! He knew he would get grief from everyone outside of the cyclone family for this decision, yet he still made it - that tells me that this kid has character and is a believer in what McFarland, Chizik and the rest of the staff are set out to do. His decision also leads me to believe that he is a true cyclone......he doesn't care what others think and just wants to be a part of something bigger than himself.
I'm also very proud of the way our coaching staff has gone about the recruiting process and I think they should be recognized for the integrity they've upheld throughout. Recruiting is a dirty game with a lot of crooked individuals involved, but I think it's safe to say that Gene Chizik isn't one of them and that is probably very refreshing to some of these players.
I think the future looks bright my cyclone friends.... LET'S GET TO WORK!!!

Question about Bo Williams - Anybody else noticed he's listed as a RS freshman? Did he get his medical redshirt? Will he have 4 to play?
