Any friends of L J Gamblin on the board?

I'm interested that UNI did not sign Gamblin, a 6-3 linebacker from DM. I would guess he will walk on either Iowa State or Iowa. I think the guy can play in the Big 12. Anyone with insight on him?

Just an idea, but maybe a grayshirt?!? I heard that Justin Ewald, McDonoughs teammate from Valley is deciding on walking on at either Iowa or ISU. He could be a nice get. I'd take either one.

he is SLOW but he has great football speed for such a slow forty when we played lincoln he was the best player on the field either side he was running guys down from behind and he has guns like tyson he must have made their first 15-20 tackles

Go Clones

I'll take him as a walk-on. I dont know what Jesse Smith's 40 speed is but he played well last year. I would guess he has high 4's speed. I'll always take an extra walk-on with desire.

I had heard he was to walk on at ISU to stay close to home. Unless something has changed

I like his quickness to the ball. Sometimes 40s can be overrated a bit. The first step is pretty important, and if you watch his videos, he's in on every tackle. I hope he's coming our way, but haven't heard anything but rumors.

he should, considering he only runs a 5.1... thats not linebacker type speed

why do the flag in jack trice always fly to the east?
-cuz the hawks suck, and the huskers blow

Great! I really like the way he plays football. Like I said before, there are guys that can flat out play, regardless of the 40 time, and he looks like one of them.
