Now that we got 2008 class signed, who are we looking at for 2009? I know there are several kids that GC has on his radar, but you will have to guess who they are...

It honestly doesn't mean much anymore... unless it's a signed letter.

I would say we have to at least try for Brandon Wegher and Keenan Davis. Doubt we would get either but can't let high profile instate players get away without fighting for them.
There are several instate recruits at the line position. Not sure how highly rated they will be. The one I know the most about is from my hometown and his dad played at ISU so that might help if the coaches think he is good enough to go after.
Here is a list of some of the top in-state recruits for next year. HawkeyeReport.com - 15 Iowans to watch in 2009 | | |

Looks like Valley isn't going to suck again huh? But we have to like having our Valley pipeline ready to take those prospects.

And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

Lake Travis is the same high school that Todd Reesing at KU is from. Not that it means anything, really. Just a neat coincidence.
