he made the decision partially cause Iowa State would let him play basketball. I know that was discussed but it sounds like it is going to happen from that article.

Article says he is a 4-star recruit for football. Anyone know how good of a basketball player he is, and what position he'd play in MBB?

I thought there was an NCAA rule that if an athlete competed in two sports a scholarship would count against both sports. I was under the impression this was to prevent a school from putting extra football players on basketball or track scholarship.
