But what I like about Chizik in his post-NSD interview, he said "we went to a high school and asked who their best player was and recruited them, it didn't matter who else was after them, we went after their best player." He also stated that, "We didn't go to teh school and asked for their best player that hadn't been committed"

Chizik's previous experience is at Texas, Auburn, & Clemson. Those programs are all national football powers (real ones, they don't just pretend like Iowa). All of his experience has been going for the best players, not waiting for bigger programs to take who they want and getting the leftovers. Something we've sorely needed.
