At first I thought you were referring to Tuftee playing football for a year at Scott Comm. College before transferring to Iowa State to ready him more for the college experience. The problem with that line of thinking is SCC does not have a football program whatsoever. Then I realized you were talking about academics and him having to pay $$$ while he's a grayshirt. That makes absolute sense. In fact, if I had taken such advice and done my physics classes at Scott instead of doing them at ISU I might actually be an engineer right now...
