Have a good life Tom, and you'll always be a cyclone.

Oh come on....We didn't even get a chance to BOO him off the field after his last game.
Oh wait....wrong school.

He wasn't playing much at the end of the year I think other guys moved past him. It would be nice to still have him on the team for depth but best wishes to him. I hope his parents still come to the games the last two years they had seats right next to us. His Dad is awesome.

The team sure will NOT be better without him, he was a rock on a line that was jelly in years past. I never feel good when a home state guy who started and was successful is no longer on the team. However, like others have said he's been here a long time and he's abusing his body day in and day out, I will never fault him for deciding to pursue other endeavors. Good luck to you Tom in the future.
I'm wondering what others will say when we have a starter next season blow out a knee, we'll really be missing Tom then...

No matter how talented a player is, it's hard to replace the leadership that a vetran brings to the group. His pressence off the field might be missed more than on the field, but reponses on in this thread show the loyality that everyone still has for him.
I will say that I am pleased to see such strong support and positives remarks regarding this subject. If I could, each of you would get rep from me.
Best of luck to Tom. It's unfortunate, but understandable. You might not have finished as a Cyclone, but you started as one, and in my book that always makes you one.
