That was awesome, couldn't make to the game but watched it at Johnny Orrs Sports bar in Ames. The place went crazy, then we heard they were having a team greet inside Hilton when they got home. Must have been 5000+ there and most had been at the bar all day so it was very loud.

When Seneca Wallace "BEAT" Flordia State! Sorry, I'm still a little mad about that one! Ball + Over the Pilon = TD but not when we play a nation's "power house" the refs didn't want to hear about that!

2002 vs Iowa. I was on the sidelines during that game running game footballs.
First Half on Iowa's Sideline.
Second Half on Iowa State's Sideline.
Those guys thought they had the game completely wrapped up at the end of the half, and we came out and absolutely knocked them right in the mouth. And Seneca was just on fire. He could have made any throw imaginable in the second half.
There is nothing better than silence in Kinnick.

Nobody mentioned the 42-14 win at Texas A&M in 2005?
Beating Iowa was huge a decade ago but it's become pretty ordinary now.

Some good mentions and I've only been to probably 10 games during my life but I was there for the Davis vs. Missouri(lets be honest that's what it was), Colorado and the Curvey rumble(is he playing professionally or does anyone know what he's doing?), "The Run" game. Then again I've seen some of the heartbreakers too(both of the times we blew the North)

The most important win, from a national perspective, in my opinion, was the Michigan game in 86 in Minneapolis. Dick Stockton saying that it looked like the jv playing the varsity, and that Michigan was "too big, too fast, and too talented" for us to beat.
The best game I ever saw, in person, was the Iowa game in 87. Doc went for 54 and 14. And we needed everyone of those points. Yes the OSU game was loud, but that
Iowa game was THE loudest I have ever heard Hilton in 25 years of going to games.
My favorite game that I saw in person, was the Kansas game in 89. They beat us 127-82 at Lawrence earlier that year, and behind a career high 26 points from Mike Born, we beat the Jayhawks. It was Roy Williams first year at Kansas.
