Anyone know why he didn't sign with K-State? Did Prince run him off as well?

This has been discussed in a different thread elsewhere and I can't seem to find it.

There were a couple Jucos at the game last weekend. On a side note I bumped into Bo Williams. Wow.. He is stacked.

I THINK safety. It would be nice to redshirt Land to really let him get ready.

Well I would say he will be ours if his grades are in order at this point.

Actually KBanks is a true, shutdown corner. On other recruiting info they have him as a 4* corner. This kid was supposed to be a december grad and sign with KState...not sure what happened, but, i don't care. I know we have LJ and Benton, and both those guys at first glance have the pedigree to be lockdowns, but, this kid has already done it in one of the toughest JUCO divisions in the nation. Don't know about some people, but, i wouldnt mind moving another top tier cb into the rotation - i hated to see our defense shredded like colby jack every time it was third and 14 and our db's werent even in the camera angle for coverage....my son could have made some of those throws, he's 2!!!!!
On a side note, not sure if this had any bearing - just a conspiracy theory.....when Rich Rod left WVU and went to Michigan, a stud juco commit at CB left WVU and signed with KState. His name was Blair Irvin and is rated as the 50th best juco prospect in the nation. Kbanks is listed as the 54th best juco player....not sure if that was his schollie and something went wrong where he wasnt able to transfer in December, maybe grades, credits, maybe kstate just punked another....
who cares.....worth a chance at a stud db for sure, but, wouldnt mind it either if he was a nickel or safety prospect either....i don't care put the playmakers on the field and i could care less about who's been starting - field the most talented players....it pushes players to achieve their maximum!!!!!!!

I think this is a case of where KSU wanted to be a Dec. grad and he didn't make it, so they dropped him. Their loss is our gain. I'll take another 3* corner with some experience.

That adds another 3 star to our roster, if he signs. In his highlight video he looked pretty good.

I think it's Banks. Then again that I heard his dad's best friend signed the LOI with him so it does not count.

I heard his aunt's uncle on his mother's side signed the LOI.

The reviews on him are he's a little bit of everything: defense and all around athlete... but depth in the secondary is key, especially since we face the KUs and Mizzous with 4 and 5 wide sets, the Techs, and such as well.
Paul will probably release who the newest recruit is as soon as he can confirm everything, but keep checking cyclones.com as well...
