Looking at NFL Draft Countdown, they have him listed as the #33 receiver, but get this, with a 4.7 40 time.
If he runs a 4.4 at the Combine, I think he has a legit shot at being an early-second day pick.
(Remember, they changed the format so the first "day" is Rounds 1-2.)

4.47 is what he ran the last time out, says he has two weeks to perfect his start.
4.47 and 6'5 210 215 is pretty damn good

If Todd can run a 4.4, it would be pretty hard to let a man with that speed, size and ability drop to the lower rounds. Would be a great pick up for my Pack.

Any idea where he'd be going to law school?
But I think he'll be in an NFL camp somewhere. At the very least, he could be a red zone weapon.

If he's running a 4.4 I'd be asking where he got the steroids since he's never shown that speed throughout his career.

Todd Blythe will get drafted. People have forgotten about him b/c of his last 2 mediocre years. Those years where more about Meyer's struggles than Blythe's. Imagine Blythe with some other decent receivers next to him and a QB that can throw the deep ball. He will play in the league for many many years. I don't think some of you realize just how athletic this guy is

Awesome news for Blythe. I sure hope that he gets picked up in the NFL. The Redskins need some help at WR and I think he could do it!
Maybe he can be the next Chris Carter, "All he does is catch touchdowns!"

man if the best receiver ever to come out of Iowa is the 33rd best receiver that's bad news for Iowa.
Anyways, if that's the case, it's also sad for ISU. Because the only reason he would be ranked that low is because of the name on his jersey every week.
He will always be one of my favorite ISU receivers.... Now, there aren't a ton of them, but as of now for me it's him and Lane.

I would be curious to see his vertical numbers too. I think he could go in the middle rounds with a 4.4. I hope he does get drafted and has a nice, large G on his yellow helmet. :)

A 4.4 what? 4.42, 4.45, 4.49? There is a huge difference.

Actually, I think they were more about the OL's struggles than either Meyer or Blythe. | | |

If he runs anything under a 4.5 at the combine, he will be a 1st day pick.
