WHat do you think the over/under for this topic would be between now and kickoff?

Re: Too early? Football entrance song.

Until we get a sound system that can actually be heard throughout the stadium over the chatter of fans, I will not care what we come out to. If we had a decent sound system, Carimina (what they played this year after Fort Minor) is as good as it gets for me.

I shouldn't say this... but my wife is probably right, the song is better fitted for a basketball arena.

I would go with about anything from Pantera as an alternative.

Agreed, it is best in an enclosed arena with the lights shut off.

Personally, I kind of liked the song from a couple years ago, not sure what it's called. They still play it during basketball games sometimes.

This is the sarcasm pirate. If you see him anywhere in my post, it means I was being sarcastic. Thank you. Actually there's a good chance I'm being sarcastic even if I forgot the pirate. I'm not to be taken too seriously.

We played some Enter Sandman and it didn't do much to pump up the crowd, so I don't think it makes it as the intro. For Whom the Bell Tolls or Leper Messiah would be good Metallica songs for the intro.

I agree with the poster above. I think that Pantera's Walk would be great for our stadium walk. I don't think any other team has it.

Agreed. The intro to "Cowboys from Hell" would be awesome. Or "Walk".

true, that is because sweet caroline sucks. It doesnt get anyone pumped or excited. it is for the tailgaters that are drunk in the parking lot. poor excuse for an intro. I think we should enter to the "cyclone" song that came out this year. "Spin it like a cyclone, all night long"

Enter Sandman rocks. We actually played it in Jazz band, and our guitar player was going crazy. It was awesome. I think it would be a good entrance for football, even if it isn't original.

This reminds me of that time my friends and I had a Neil Diamond cover band, "Diamonds in the Rough."

Oh wait, that was "Saving Silverman." Good flick.
