Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
#1 Season Ticket Sales + Tent Sales + Visitors Team + Recruiting Section + Bands = Sold Out Stadium Seating #2 Only options left for single tickets are the hillsides or enlarge the stadium seating .....
They have fine tuned the single game ticket policy for the Nebraska game this year. Unlike the Iowa game, single game "Hillside Only" are available. -
Re: Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
I would think 32,000 tix would be realistic. A lil less than last year, but there were probably quite a few that only bought them for the Iowa game.
Hopefully we can get off to a hot start and the walk up ticket totals will rise as the season goes on.

Re: Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
There are a lot of Nebraska fans that buy season tickets in the years the NU is in town. Wouldn't be surprised to see just as many as last year because of that this year.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating. -

Hopefully we can get off to a hot start and the walk up ticket totals will rise as the season goes on. How do we really know how many people bought season tickets for the Iowa game only? If we knew that number, we could prolly be pretty close to waht our numbers will be this year. However, I'm not sure anyone knows how many people bought season tickets JUST for the Iowa game.

Re: Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
It depends on Pollard's required donations for seating priveleges. If he keeps it the same as it's always been I predict about 34-35k season tickets.
If he makes it as expensive as published, I predict 29-30k season tickets. The practice of Iowa and Nebraska fans buying season tickets just for one game will end if they have anothern $500 to $1,000 added to their bill.

Re: Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
I see the # of tickets going down next season. I am going to renew but only because I am able to split them. I have a second child on the way and the money situation has changed at our house.
If ISU goes to a bowl game next season, expect 2009 tickets to be higher then 2007. (I think this will happen!)

Are students included in this number?

Actually, per game prices went up this year, but we don't think about it because the overall price stayed the same. I expect prices to go to around $400 next fall.
This fall I think the overall number will go down, but not by much.

Re: Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
It has to be kept as expensive as published. Otherwise the portion of the fan base paying donations but sitting in lower levels than those paying less, will raise a lot of commotion.
It is announced and is being done. There will be a lot of seat movement in both basketball and football this year.

Re: Realistic Season Ticket Goals For FB
I agree with ribvdub, I think it'll probably be about 32k. We know there were a decent amount of fans that bought season tickets just for the Iowa game (remember the guy on eBay that bought 500 for a corporate thing?) and there will be fewer season tickets bought because of the hillside availability.
Actually, per game prices went up this year, but we don't think about it because the overall price stayed the same.
Apparently you missed THIS (No talk on ticket prices?) thread.

The practice of Iowa and Nebraska fans buying season tickets just for one game will end if they have anothern $500 to $1,000 added to their bill. Nebraska fans wanting tickets for the game in Ames this year will have 4 options (unless they want to donate to NCC):
1) Single game hillside tickets ($60)
2) Cy's pack season tickets ($195)
3) Hillside season tickets ($99)
4) End zone season tickets ($125, if still available)
