Re: You are the Head Coach

They are cherry picked not to prove that lower ranked recruits are always better (they aren't) but to prove a few interesting points, yeah.

have you ever got caught outside In a strong rainfall? Yes or NO. If it"s yes, then you might half felt the pane of hard(tought) rain on you head. If it hurt"s then it"s tough. Yes or no. Okay I'm right and you know it.

So alothough you attempt"ed to say you didn"t understnad, now you do. Fair enough?

2* DT from Houston may be Brent "Big Play" Curvey.
2* JUCO LB may be Tim Dobbins.

my thoughts...

Haha, well, I'm not very subtle apparently. If enough people like it though I'll do a full "season" of recruiting and maybe even actually give you some video to check out. :)

Point taken.

Recruiting is always, always going to be a crap shoot. It comes down to the coaching and what they can do with what they've got, and that's what's got me optimistic.

DT from Illinois. 6-2, 250 lbs. Runs the 40 in 4.7 seconds, benches 400 max, squats 600 max, has a 3.1 GPA. Holds offers from Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, UCLA, and Wisconsin, in addition to your school.

DT from Texas. 6-0, 286 lbs. Runs the 40 in 4.78 seconds. Holds offers from Ball State and Houston.

Middle Linebacker:

Your program needs immediate help here so you are planning on bringing in a JUCO for some quick help.

LB. 6-3, 215 lbs. Runs the 40 in 4.6 seconds. Holds an offer from Nebraska.

LB. 6-1, 245 lbs. Runs the 40 in 4.63 seconds. Holds offers from Toledo and UAB.

Outside Linebacker:

You have a great assistant coach who has really bonded with some highly ranked kids. You can take two of the three here.

LB from Florida. 6-2, 225. 3.0 GPA, run a 4.42 40. Ranked the #1 overall OLB by Rivals. Holds offers from Miami, Auburn, Florida, and Florida State.

LB from Illinois. 6-2, 217 pounds. Has a 2.6 GPA, runs a 4.57 40. Ranked the #2 overall OLB by Rivals. Holds offers from Ohio State, Miami and Oregon.

LB from Ohio. 6-2, 230 pounds. Runs the 40 in 4.6 seconds. Holds offers from Ohio State and Penn State.

Quarterback:

QB from Texas. 6-0, 170 pounds. Runs a 4.69 40 with a 27 inch vertical. Offers from Syracuse, A & M, Baylor, and Houston.

QB from California. 6-3, 190 pounds. Runs a 4.76 40. You are his only scholarship offer.

Athlete:

A few positions at your school could use some help, especially RB and DB, but not for a few years down the road. Bring in two of these athletes and see where they fit when you get them.

ATH from Arkansas. 6-0 198 pounds. Runs a 4.38 40, benches 325 pounds. Has a 2.6 GPA. Offers from Tennessee and Alabama.

ATH from Ohio. 6-0, 170 pounds. Runs a 4.4 40 with a 230 pound bench. 3.3 GPA. Offers from Pitt, USC, Miami and Ohio State.

ATH from Alabama. 6-1, 180 pounds. Runs a 4.29 40, 260 bench. 38 inch vertical and a 3.5 GPA. Offres from Florida, LSU and Ole Miss.

I'll tell you who they were tomorrow... if anyone leaves their picks I'll rank your recruiting class on signing day and tell you how the players panned out.
is it sad if i can name most of these players?

I think we would take them all by offering all a schollie and then taking whomever signs first.

The last guy sounds like a Bo Jackson. 4.29 is world class. I will take him. One of the linebackers from Ohio could be AJ Hawk. A 286 pound tackle that runs 4.78 40. Sign me up.
