I'm looking for his birthday. If he was 18 when he signed it, does it matter what Momma thinks.
I'm hoping we're all just getting bent out of shape on an internet rumor.

When the Compliance Office verified the LOIs, wouldn't they have had to verify that the signature on his was from a legal guardian?

how in the bleep can someone mull over a decision for months on end, make up his mind, sign, then reverse his decision? Cripes! I can sort of (with frustration) understand a kid changing his mind on a commitment during the recruiting process. There were tons of posts on here about the players that backed out of their pledges to ISU during the fall... I get that, but for freaks sake, they all know when signing day is and when a decision is needed by... but to sign and then pull a billy donovan or dana altman? ridiculous. perhaps Webster's should change the definition of commitment

You can't knock our compliance folks if this is true.
If someone's dad signs, I'd assume it to be legit. If he's not the legal guardian, I don't see how we don't get screwed here.
Maybe she knows something we don't. Maybe she's afraid he won't do well so far from home.
Regardless, I wish him the best. It would suck to have 2 parents fighting over where you're going to go to school. You would think that they could come to an agreement on that, despite what their past history might be.

Momma's scared to let her boy go so far away and didn't sign the LOI but the dad did sign. Apparently the parents are divorced and mom is the legal guardian though, which would nullify dad's signature.
But again, it could just be one overblown rumor started by an Aggie upset at seeing one of Texas' best recruits head north for a change. Time will tell...

Any word on whether Sedrick actually wants to switch to A&M? Or is it his mother's doing?
