SWAGGER –
1. Always protect your home turf
2. Always have an upset
3. Never lose to an underdog
Home games – 4 games are very winnable
Upset games – at home either KU or MU
underdogs away – 2 (Baylor, UNLV) EIU and OSU with swagger we win
We can be 8-4 or 9-3

Expect to win the four non conference games and 6-7.
If not, we win no more than four for the year.

We can be 8-4 or 9-3 There's a difference between swagger and confidence. Swagger is NU, swagger is arrogance, swagger is showboating. I don't care to see anyt swagger--just confidence.

I kind of disagree. Swagger is an attitude. It says that no one can beat you - except yourself. It's not an arrogance of being better, swagger says you still need to go out and punch someone in the mouth.
IMO fans have confidence, teams have swagger...
as far as kNU they're just delusional

We're sandwiched between two schools on I-80 that have delusional fans who prefer to live in the past.
Swagger doesn't come until you win over and over and over. USC has swagger. We don't...but we should play with confidence.

Of course I hope I'm wrong, but I'll say 3 or 4 wins likely. 5 a great improvement. Anything more, Chiz for Big 12 Coach of the Year.

LOL, we have no past! I
SU=USC
Don't kid yourself Monty, Iowa will be a very tough game to win.
I say we win 4 games this year.

Let's face it... 3 wins or less will be a huge disappointment and 4 wins won't be much better. That being said, I think that 5-6 wins could be achievable and I'd be more or less happy with the steady improvement. 7-8 wins would exceed my expectations. (any more than that and I'll be dancing in the streets in my underwear...)
Unfortunately, for a team that is rebuilding the schedule isn't the greatest. We play the higher quality teams (kansas, nebraska, aTm, and Missouri) at home, and the all the 2nd tier teams (iowa, osu, cu, and ksu) away. This would be an ideal schedule if we were already competitive, but in our current state, I'd have preferred to have the weaker teams at home.
In any case, I'm hoping for 3 Big12 wins, and I'll consider two of those wins steals (we damn well better beat Baylor). I'm not sure where they're going to come from, but I think we have a better chance at home then on the road so one of them will hopefully be over NE or aTm.

We won't blow them out, but if we can score in double digits it should be enough to win.
Everyone thought I was nuts last year when I predicted that UNI was better than Iowa and that losing to UNI & beating Iowa was possible...and look how that turned out.

I say any where from 5 Wins to 8 Wins with it more likely to be 6.
2008 6 Wins
2009 8 Wins
2010 9/10 Wins and North Champs

Turnovers will be the key for both teams more so this year then in past years. Remember we aren't exactly proven at QB and it will be AA's first road start in a hostile environment.

13-0, but a 9-3 Ohio State is unanimously declared national champion, despite getting blown out in their BCS bowl game by a 70 point margin....

I definately think we can go to a bowl, but we cant have any mistakes in easy games.
I also have a question, I live in Georgia, so i dont get updated alot about the cyclones, so i was wondering if Bo williams is going to be able to play this year or will he have to sit out.
