I know it's pretty early but i was wondering what people think Iowa state's football record will be for 2008

I definitley think we can go 8-4, but we could win more. Next year will be Chiziks year. I think we could win as many as 9 games and as few as 6, but i think we can win 8.

You have us losing every home conference game and going 8-4 overall? That would be a sight to see.

I think it will be really tough for us to beat Kstate with all of their juco help,and Colorado will have Darrel scott.

That would be great. I could see us dropping either the Iowa game or CU game on the road but I could also see us stealing one or two of those home games particularly Neb or AtM. It would be great for momentum if we could start a winning streak at Baylor and keep it up with two wins at home before two games on the road.

well we do play kansas,misouri,texas a and m, and nebraska, i think that we could definitely beat nebraska but kansas, mizzou and nebraska all run a west coast/spread offense and our dbacks arent that good, and texas a and m is just better so idk maybe we beat nebraska and drop some other road games

there he goes drinking the kool-aid. We won 3 games this last year. Anything more than 6 would be an unbelievable surprise. We have way to many holes still left on D. Our offense should help us steal a few this year I hope though.

I do think 5 or 6 wins is a reasonable expectation. Remember, our offense is going to be pretty young for the most part. It may take a few games for our guys to click. Overall, I think the schedule is pretty favorable.
