DMR Coverage of SJ A Day Late

ISU football: Cyclones or Aggies? Star signed with both | DesMoinesRegister.com | The Des Moines Register

This was wrapped up yesterday afternoon. Why is the best that DMR can do? A few leads on the Internet would have got them connected to people with prompt accurate information.

Iowa State University: Service, Sportsmanship & Education by Iowans for Iowans. It's the Heart of the State of Iowa!

I made the mistake of scrolling through all three pages of Squawk Talk on the DMR article. I had to come back over here to cool off...

Whew, that's better.

DMR stands for Demented, Miserable, & Ridiculous.

They used to be a well respected newspaper at one point, even for sports.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

I always thought it stood for "Des Moines Red Star - The Progressive Paper For the Proletariat Marching Toward a Bright Communist Future!"

It's an easy mistake to make, though.
