I guess Keith Murphy isn't the only one who doesn't know what is going on.

Re: Reg on Seg Today

Mom is probably not the best source if info since she seems to be the only one sold on aTm. I'm surprised the bothered to print anyhtiong on this story since there ihas been no offical public announcments by either school or the NCAA.

Hope they are behind and this isn't still up in the air. He could always forgoe a year and go elsewhere still.

Who is Seg?

This is the sarcasm pirate. If you see him anywhere in my post, it means I was being sarcastic. Thank you. Actually there's a good chance I'm being sarcastic even if I forgot the pirate. I'm not to be taken too seriously.

I'm more curious to find out what Sed's intentions are. He obviously had to sigh the 2nd LOI to aTm, so maybe he had a change in heart? Just because the NCAA is saying the 2nd LOI is not valid does not mean he is coming to ISU. Can he not still transfer to aTM and sit out a year?

He could, but I don't know why he would want to when he could see the field immediately at ISU.

I'm sure Mom isn't going quietly.

Re: Reg on Sed Today

This story is still dead unless Sed decides for some reason to give up on a year of eligibility. He wants to go to ISU, is signed with ISU and will go to ISU as of this point. The Register is obviously trying to make a story since they missed the original one by like a week. This was over before the Register even reported there was a story - just the typical covering their lazy *** at this point.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Well there had to be a reason he signed the LOI to aTm. Maybe he had a change in heart and was hoping he could still get with aTm? Maybe his mom made him sign it? I just wish someone somehow could get and interview with Sed and see what his intentions were and why he signed the LOI to aTm.

I also noticed she said she hadn't been contacted by ISU or the NCAA. Does that mean she has been contacted by aTm? That would seem pretty close to being a no-no for them (it would, of course, be a no-no for us).

Or we could just leave him, and his family alone, the only people that 'need to know' are the coaches an Sed...

True, can't argue that. But it seems that all the articles/posts/interviews have been focused on which LOI he would have to honer, and which LOI is valid. There has not been much mention on why Sed signed the 2nd LOI to aTm after he signed with ISU. I just am hoping he still wants to be in Ames, and has not had a change in heart!

I think what could have happened is he signed the aTm letter of intent while he was still somewhat committed to them and had that one ready to go once signing day rolled around. Then when he signed the ISU one once he switched commitments and since his mother wouldn't sign the ISU one had dad step in. Then the mother sent the aTm one in last week. Just a theory. I would have to believe that the kid as more sense than to send two different LOI.
