Besides, I think the kids prefer the North end, though thats the end I've always sat at so I may be biased)
If you're refering to the hill between the gate and the stadium, I know they cut into that... the hill on the East side is there to stay for now but expect that to get cut into in phase II as well

How many seats did they remove to add those boxes? Wasn't there quite a few rows of seats under the overhang?

I'd also like to see them repaint the seats. The worn cardinal and gold looks bad.

Ha ha I was a bit young to enjoy booze at those games, I stuck the fireworks Maybe I'll have to go "enjoy a game" there before my friend in Bowie leaves for Iraq in June though | Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy |

See thats the problem with Iowa, no distinction between seasons. Spring and Fall feel the same, so you feel like tailgating when really tailgating is a good 6 months away...

i happen to think nothing is wrong with Iowa's four very distinct seasons. You out of stater's bad mouthing the greatest state in the Union :-P on you. but honestly ISU tailgating is one of the best i have been to in the colleges that i have seen (granted that is like 6 others that i have actually witnessed) and i get amped to start all over again right after the final gun of the last home game! the best thing about ISU football is even if it is bad and some times its BAD you can still have a great time at the tailgate and it makes every home weekend enjoyable. its tough to beat tip-top at 6am and then tailgating at the student or regular lots until game time, then cheering your butt off win or lose and then going back to the lots to celebrate or sulk the sorrows away
and come back the next time out and start all over
