Just remember if you fly Allegiant, they close their ticket counter at least 45 minutes before the flight takes off and if you aren't already checked in you don't get to fly or get your money back. So make sure you don't run late.

I mapquested the trip. 20hr and 2 min. 1416 miles. I think I would rather fly.

Otherwise, you are correct, I would fly... but you have to also either incur lots of taxi charges or rent a car.

I hate vegas cabbies by they way, they always take you the long way and get pissy if you complain.

It's a solid 20 hour drive. With a 4 month old, I would plan on stopping in Denver as a mid-way point. Best of luck to you!

Seriously...they actually do this? Good to know, the show up 1hr before flight usually doesnt apply at the DSM un-International airport.

You guess good. I ran late and got to the airport 42 minutes before my flight was supposed to take off. Had to call my ride to come pick me up again because I missed my flight that was still sitting at the airport that hadn't started boarding yet.

EXACT same thing happened to me!! I arrived 40 minutes before my flight was to take off I would rather do a swan dive off the Sears tower than EVER get on an Allegiant flight again...

I second that. There needs to be a NCC charter for this one. That would be the best way to handle it.

I've always thought that the Alumni Assoc events are WAAAYY overpriced. The Austin trip they had planned was insanely priced.

Paris is a very nice hotel and casino...They ceiling or sky is way cool, helps you play at late nights.

Mirage is the place I'll be staying.

I have some friends staying at New York, New York so I'd like to stay close to there. Any recommendations?
