Spring Football

Yea I talked to Bates a little while back and he said they've got Spring Break and then one more week, and then Spring Practice starts up. I asked him how workouts were going and he just chuckled and said, "You don't wanna know". Sounds like Shep is definitely getting everything out of these guys he can in the off season. I can't wait for the spring game.

On a related note, can Bo play in the spring game?

I believe that Bo can do everything with the team except for actually playing in the games.

Ill have to swing by a few practices after work. Should be interesting to see Bates toss the ball around.

Practices start March 25th, the Tuesday right after Spring Break.

Spring game is April 19th

I would think that Bo might actually get some reps in the event that he goes ahead with the waiver appeal and it is approved. Not good odds especially since he transferred further away from home. Most waivers are granted for family issues, but one never knows.

Bo will make our defense better until he can play for real. And by that time both of our defense and Bo will be ready to go. =)

Does Bo not realize how appeals go at ISU? It's good that he has the desire, but unfortunately appeals with the NCAA don't go well here.

I am ready to watch some division 1 football! I am looking forward to the spring practice time so I can hear all sorts of news. I am excited for the football season! I am hoping for a bowl game!
