I would be disappointed if JP did not put this well concieved plan to work again after it's success last year. Do you realize the year before JP came we sold 22,000 season tickets? Steve Malchow says we need season tickets sales and not just that single game for all of your Husker and Hawkeye buddies. Some of you think winning should come first and season ticket sales will take care of themselves. I agree, but we have been trying to do that for the last 30 years with the lowest budget in the Big 12 and you see what that has gotten us.
The thing is that other schools have done this to Nebraska before (like Wake Forest), so we're just another bump in the road. Iowa fans think they are an elite program, and then complain about getting the elite program treatment. Can't have it both ways.
Husker Howls can be heard across the way. Many will be tailgating on the hillside. Hope it does not rain that day.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
Good deal. Husker nation is prob upset, since they try to make JTS home. In the past I know Husker fans did have ISU season tickets. Its all fair, could I get a ticket to the ISU game in Linclon? I doubt it.
The gap in our economy is between what we have and what we think we ought to have--and that is a moral problem, not an economic one. - Paul Heyne
