I'm guessing that the person to win the starting spot will go over 1000 yards this year. I'm also thinking it will be A-Rob. It looked like the staff will stay with the "hot" back most of the time rather than rotating a lot.
I don't think we will see a 1000 yard WR. this year. Hamilton would be my guess if we do. It's on 80 some yards a game, but I don't think it will happen this year.
IMO: we won't see a 1000 yd rusher... but we rush for 1000 yds this year.
-keep.
I don't think we will have a 1000 yard rusher, but if we didn't rush for a 1000 yards as a team I don't think I would want to see this board. I doubt we would see that big of a drop off in rushing unless we are throwing for 5000 yards this year.
Being that A-Rob is also a threat to receive out of the backfield, he may get 1000 yards of total offense, but I'd be shocked if he, Bass, or Scales individually eclipsed 1000 yards rushing. We do not have "the" feature guy in the backfield (think Haywood) but by committee I think we look pretty strong.
If Bo Williams is as good as advertised, and if he wins the starting spot, he might be the guy to get us to back to the millennium. But I'm not counting on anyone doing it this season.
We rushed for more thsan a thousand last year. If we average less than 85 yards rushing a game, we need about 300 yards passing a game or a punt return team extraodinaire.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
A-Rob had almost 370 yards last year. He basically had that in 4 games. The feeling I got from Coach McFarland in Council Bluffs, was A-Rob is the leading person.
