With the new uniforms unveiled, away will have either gold or red pants. Last year we wore yellow pants at Mizzou, where their color was gold, and red pants at Nebraska, where there color is red. Does this seem backwards, or are we sticking it in their face. I wonder if we go with red or gold at Iowa. Any thoughts?
Last year the "red pants/white top" was the 'standard' road uniform for us, Nebraska was no exception. I think for the Mizzou game Chizik probably wanted to change things up a bit and try something new.
Gold pants would be nice at Iowa this year though.....things would be almost identical to the white/gold combo we had last season against their black/gold combo.
I thought the players voted before every game on what uni's to where...
I heard they all liked the throwbacks the best...they would have voted for them. (so would I) I encouraged JP to keep them until we lost, but to no avail.Quote:
