Wasn't complaining about it, infact, I decided to donate for the first time. Will I complain..... No. I want us to go somewhere in football.
Just wanted to set the tax thing straight.

So if you are donating $500, $400 of that goes as a tax write off. So technically your only spending $100. So if you weren't deducting that $400 you were spending that in paying taxes.
Sorry there Kramer didn't mean to set you straight. It's a deduction, not a credit.
You're actually "getting back" whateveryourtaxbracket is (let's say 25%) * deduction. In the case of a 500 dollar donation, you can deduct 400 dollars, and it will save you about 100 bucks in taxes.
So in reality, your 500 dollar donation costs you 400 dollars out of pocket.

That probably could be correct. I always interpreted it the other way. Good thing I'm not a tax accountant.
I guess my point is still you can deduct it. That $500 isn't as bad as it could be.
If you can't afford it you can't afford it, enough said really. But there is alternatives in JTS.
A big thing that pops up on this whole issue is the gas price. I see this as an excuse of many people along with the tickets.
Jamie can do alot of things, controlling the gas price is not one though. I know it hurts and cost more getting to games, but I have already started saving money in anticipation of this. Everything costs more these days, and obviously complaining isn't changing anything.

If I write something about that RB that we're not supposed to talk about in this thread can I get it removed. I am tired of everyone beating a dead horse on this issue. AHHHHHH!

Really! There's also the option to not go in a bar where people are smoking but apparenlty individuals can't make that decision either! We need more regulation.

I could be like some people on this board and say, "until you post more then 39 times, don't complain about the content in the threads."
I will respond like jumbo though. If you don't like it, don't read it. You are free to do what you want, no one forced you to respond.

You may want to complain to you state representative on that one.

Actually I could care less about the smoking. It's just dumb that we are wasting legislative time on crap like that when there are more important issues, like how can we help ISU Football. Maybe that's what they need to do. Now back to football talk.

Now back to football talk. The smoking doesn't bother me. But I think smokers should be charged with littering when they throw their cigarette butts on the sidewalk. And smokers should also get fined additionally if the cigarette butt is STILL lit when they throw it away. That is TOTALLY irresponsible. If you want to smoke, snuff it out and dispose of it properly.
