Who's it gonna be this year? Nebraska last year, us the year before. It seems to happen every year, so I was just wondering who you guys thought it might be?
I'm going with Kansas. I know they didn't lose a lot in terms of numbers, but they lost a lot of talent. I remember how much our D was depleted after losing Hobbs, and Kansas will feel the pains of losing Talib and Collins. Add that to a much tougher schedule They are still bowl bound though, IMO
Also, I see us and Colorado being the "Kansas and Missouri" the next couple years.

No we don't get Texas, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech back on the schedule until the 10-11 season.

I actually think Colorado has overhyped its expectations for this season.

Agree about Colorado. I honestly don't think Hawkins' kid is that good of a QB. Plus, they have an absolutely brutal schedule which could really sap their confidence.

I think it all depends if their new all world runningback, Darrell Scott, is ready for Big 12 competition.

I think it is Kansas that flops. It appeared they just got hot with a VERY weak schedule. I don't see it happening again...

Im going to go with Texas Tech. Big expectations, high powered O, still no D.

I'm kind of a big deal!

I think and hope that it is Kansas.

But I would agree they will fall the most just based on the schedule they have this year.

It was easy for me to single out a team that would flop last season (which was K-State), but I'm not so sure about this year if any team is "due" for a flop. The Big XII should be pretty strong this year.

Same south conference rotation, just some different sites.

Same south conference rotation, just some different sites. Except their offense was light years better than ours.

That's how far it was from an 11-0 season.
