Re: Here's the kicker...

I swear to God when I was young there was a horse or a donkey that was a really good kicker. Caught everybody by surprise.

Does said horse/donkey have any offspring we could suit up?

As stated above, they are still in high school right now.

I think that article is just being facetious, but I can't really tell. Of course we are practicing the kicking game with a live body. It's not as if we have absolutely no one to practice with.

Until they get here and show they can do something productive in a game we still have a kicking issue. I think we will be fine in the fall but until then it is only a wishful thing.

Re: Here's the kicker...

Michael Romey is the kicker right now. Redshirt freshman from Carroll. Still getting used to kicking off the ground. Looks identical to Shaggy out there kicking at 6'5 175.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

This is what scares me about having two true freshmen dueling out...

ISU fans breeding athletes?? Maybe not.

Internet contest winners. Absolutely.

I assumed the article was facetious, being AOL, I imagine they just picked up what came out of the papers. The link to the Indianola paper was good (enjoyed the "Lonesome Kicker" too!)

True freshman shouldn't have to come in and kick right away. That's way too much pressure.

Crap, forgot about them. We aren't too far behind, there is still time to catch up right?

Does anybody know if the new kickers have experience kicking off the ground in camps and such? I thought somebody on here once said that 1 or both of them practice a lot of the ground.

I'm starting a GENOME project just for this. Please send me a sample of your blood and I'll extract the pertinent Genes to create a stud football player.

It was a mule. And sorry, mules are sterile.
