practice 10

Spring Practice No. 10: Coach Rodgers Mic'd Up - Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - Iowa State Cyclones Sports

Sounds like the offense looked very good, is this reason to be concerned about defense, or excited about the o? a couple of huge plays for both qbs right outta the gate. like to hear about taylor taking on the leadership role. can't wait for the spring game.

The RB's sound impressive. Too bad Williams can't play this year. Harris is back at RB?? Bates with a 55 yard run, maybe he can play a little RB if the QB thing doesn't pan out.

Certainly good news for the offense. But the D giving up 4 TD's of 40+ yards has got to be concerning.

Interesting to see Bo Williams on 2 TD's. Not that he can't practice, but since he has to sit out a year, curious that he is getting carries when practice is limited.

Bo is getting some carries, but not a ton. In the scrimmage - he didn't get a single snap until near the very end.

Also, in practice 9 I think it was, Bates took one 80 yards to the house.

I am glad someone else said it. I would love to see Bates and Arnaud in the backfield together.

Could Williams be getting more reps because of a possible Bass issue? I know Bo isn't eligible but it surely wouldn't hurt for him to get reps. You sure don't hear Scales name much. If Bass isn't here for fall we will need Harris for sure.

I noticed we haven't heard much of Scales the last couple practices too. I would bet he is dinged up, judging from his history.
