I would think we would be very competitve in the Big 10. One of the upper tier teams. Any thoughts?

I think in football we'd be somewhere between 6th-9th. I think we could eventually do damage in men's basketball in that league.

I don't think we could compete in football. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, just to name a few. ( do think we could beat Indiana, and Northwestern)

In football we would probably be somewhere around 6-8 with the way things are. We are not better than Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio State right now, and still would not blow out MSU or Minnesota or Iowa.

In all honesty, I think we'd be on the same level with Northwestern and Indiana in football. About the same history, revenue, bowl appearances/success, etc.
In basketball, I'd put us somewhere in the middle.
Wrestling we'd be near the top.

Right now OSU, Michigan, Illinois, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Michigan State are better than us right now. In basketball Wisconsin, Purdue, Michigan State, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio State and Illinois are better than us but Illinois could be a stretch. I really think in 2-3 years could be in the top 3rd of each sport. Definitely a better situation than the Big XII.

In football we would be near the bottom:
Better than us: Ohio State, Michigan, Illinois, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Purdue.
Same level as us: Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan State.
Below us: Minnesota and Northwestern.
In men's basketball our current team would be in about the middle of the conference:
Better than us: Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Indiana.
Same level as us: Minnesota (who beat us) and Purdue (who we beat).
Below us: Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Northwestern, and Illinois.
I believe we would do very well long term in men's basketball.
In women's basketball we would probably be the best team in the conference.
In wrestling it would be a two-team race.
The worst thing would be having our games on the BTN where nobody would ever see them.

That is funny.

That is funny. Unfortunately the Big Ten doesn't think the NCAA Tournament lasts more than two rounds.

In football I believe we would be competitive with all the schools there. There is a lot of parity in the Big 10, not much creativity, especailly on offense. In my view, we are at parity with Iowa right now, but we are moving up and they are headed down. Iowa is an upper middle school in the conference, we could certainly get there.

In football I would say we would be mid pack, maybe slightly upper half. Michigan and Ohio State are just a little below Texas and Oklahoma recently, most of that being thanks to Michigan, and I see them as the two games I would call guaranteed losses. After that, there is a dramatic drop off. Wisconsin is usually pretty good, and would beat us 70% of the time, and after that I don't see a team that would own us. If there were years that we didn't play tOSU or Michigan, I think we could definitely finish 4th, maybe third.
