CY logo question

Does anyone have the logo of Cy where he is leaning on a football while facing forward? I want the vintage CY, there are 4 of us that tailgate together and we are thinking of getting that as a tattoo.

I had some tatoo artist tell me that they wouldn't do red and yellow because it doesn't show up well. I found one that said he could do it. I have had this for four years and it hasn't faded yet.

I am sure you all remember Coach Getty the strength coach. he has a tattoo on his ankle that has a football with the words "27-9" arching around the football with the date of September 12, 1998

Remember that date vividly.

What's so embarrasing about that? He was a member of the first Bowl Champion in school history. If that's the way he wants to remember it, I see nothing wrong with it.

Well all 4 of us got our tattoos done last night. My wife and i got them on our left ankle. the other couple got them on their right ankle.

the women also took it a step further, they got one set of "Cy" feet in the same spot somewhere on their body.

we are getting together again next week and we will post photos. We went to ink addiction and Ben did a great job. Not very expensive and they look awesome.

all 4 of us had him "modify" this logo a little.

that is an awesome tatoo. The leaning cy just looks wimpy...he was so appropriate for ISU in the late 80's.
