I got mine Cyclone tat about two years ago. Mine is a picture of the old school Cy with the words "Cyclones 4 Life" above it and "Bro's Before XX's" below it. Of court my tat doesn't say "XX's" it says something else that rhymes with "bro's" but this is a family website.

I want to get one when I graduate. I have thought about getting a tattoo that has to do with the "science with practice" thing on Hilton. (I'm an engineer) or maybe just go with good old Cy. I have a couple years to decide anyway...

An ISU tat might not be bad as far as tats go, I've never decided to try one.

My recommendation, don't get it on your ribs. I have a couple of tattoos and one was done on my ribs, it was agony for an hour and a half. It was well worth it though.

About 3 years ago I went back to Ames for a buddy's graduation party. One friend there made the announcement that if we rounded up enough money he would get a tattoo of Chris Mullin (Golden State Warriors, original Dream Team) on his arm. Sure enough we gathered the money and he got the tattoo of him on his left arm. I have been trying to track down an old picture of the tattoo, but haven't found it yet. But believe me, it is a gem.
