OK, back to the topic at hand...

I love these posters. But is anyone other than myself a little surprised that, with the push to get back to our traditional school colors, there is a lack of, um, color?

I'm gonna say it's Marquis Hamilton, Jesse Smith, Chris Lyle (who still has dreads, must've been pulled back for this pic), James Smith, and RJ Sumrall.

RJ is the only one I'm questioning, but I'm almost 100% positive on the other guys.

Willing to bet that they don't want to show off the new J's that much until their first game. If anything this is a really smart marketing technique. Makes me want to see it in person, which means me buying a ticket and putting money in the AD's pocket.

In the promotional pictures of the uniforms, the pants do look more like the throwbacks. It's possible those aren't the real thing.

Unfortunately, I am not particularly skilled at image manipulation. I myself would like some better quality images of the poster. I'm hoping that the athletic department posts images of the posters on cyclones.com in the coming weeks.

Just got it and I think they are all wearing #55. James Smith is the second one from the right and he is not wearing #2. Maybe thats not Lyle in the middle?

Anyway, these things are the freaking ****

Some People see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not? When I took this job I said why not Iowa State? Why not winning? Why not bowl games? Why not sell outs? Why not national respect? Why not us? Why not here? Why not the cyclone family?

that's my best guess too... the three in the middle are for sure Smith, Lyle, and Smith

Here is a widescreen wallpaper (just as a note: it is homemade and unofficial).

Here's a manipulated one (once again, after the stadium fiasco, this is on no way associated with the Athletic department and is totally unofficial) that's my background right now. It's 1680x1050.

I think that's my son on the right (Chris Lyle); my daughter agrees. He always pulls the hair back.
