2008 Football poster images ...

I apologize for the quality (or lack there of) of the images, but I thought I'd share some pics of the football poster for 2008. It will be officially unveiled, I believe, at the autograph signing tomorrow morning and the spring game at Noon tomorrow. Being the nerd that I am, I stopped by the Jacobsen Building a few times this week to check to see if it had been released yet (West/East entrances to the Jake have a poster display thingy where fans can pick up posters).

Doh! I forgot to mention, for those of you who are not in the area, you can request a poster(s) from the Athletic Department:

How Can I Obtain a Poster or Schedule Card? Posters, schedule cards and schedule magnets can be found at the front desk of the Jacobson Athletic Building. Football posters are available in late April and basketball posters are available in October. The basketball (men’s and women’s) posters can also be picked up on the concourse level of Hilton Coliseum during games. Olympic sports posters are available during specific home events and at the Jacobson Building as supplies last. To receive a poster or schedule card by mail, send a self-addressed envelope or mailing tube with proper postage to Marketing Department, Iowa State Athletics, Jacobson Athletic Building, Ames, Iowa 50011.

Being the good friend that I am, I am sending some posters out in the mail tomorrow morning to my out of state ISU fan friends.

I think, that as long as you send the Athletic Department a self addressed mailing poster tube thingy with postage already on it, the posters are free.

Since I live in Ames, I haven't attended a Cyclone Tailgate Tour outside of Ames, yet, but I would think that they will have posters available. Just a guess, though.

Chris Lyle is the Middle. Hamilton on the far left. Jesse Smith is the first one to the right of Lyle. I think those are right.

Those new uniforms look sweet, but please tell me we are not going to have white shoes this year. Black shoes are the only way to go. Thanks for the Pics.
