Sorry to say I'm gonna be sporting "old logo" clothing for the spring game.. leaving soon. Heck... wish the team was gonna sport the "new logo" for the spring game.

Slogan somewhere said the new season starts now... why not unveil the "new look" . Jaime coulda had new look sported early in the week by players... little more P.R. for the game than I've seen.

Break it out for the spring game... then let the fans pick up the gear through the summer... just a thought

It's a spring game. I'm not going either and I don't really blame anybody who doesn't get up there. It's a crappy day and it's not really a "game" in the traditional sense. I love the Clones obviously, but I don't really get into the structure of our spring game for the same reason I don't watch the NFL combine. I like the competition of sports.

For us it's more of an excuse to get out of the house and go do something, spend some time in Ames, etc. We're not as interested in the game as we are having a reason to go do something.

I'd go, but I'm kind of half the country away, so insted I'm going to go wash my car and chill on the beach, drink a little beer and hope someone is decent enough to give me a report, because I get the feeling all I'm going to get from Superfan is crap about me being a Hawkeye for not being there...

I think T-Galaxy is over rated, for the good stuff you have to go to the bookstore in the MU. For anyone who hasn't seen it since it's renovation, it is pretty sweet.

Simple enough--because then the expenditure would have been on the already stressed '07-08 financial year.

I use that same line with respect to recruiting. I am bored by it. I want to see them on the field in a real game before I get excited. I did go to the spring game however, but one of the things that brought me over from Cedar Rapids was to attend the Gridiron tailgate and hear Chizik speek.

I hope some day this can be a more significant event and draw fans in big numbers. I am jealous that for a modest cost for admission, Nebraska probably put more than a 1/2 million into their coffers. We probably lost money.

If we want to be a big time program, we have to start acting like fans of a big time program.

Nebraska also had a real spring GAME. We didn't. I would have gone if it were a true game.

I agree. Special teams were a big problem last year....and we didn't see ANY kickoffs or punts to see them practice the coverage of the kicks or even the returns.

Our two kickers for this coming year haven't even graduated high school yet. You wanna give them a chance to make it to Ames before we write off the kicking game entirely?
