Some photos from the spring game

Jeremy, if this is too many feel free to delete. I'll try to have a whole page of these on my website later this week if anyone is interested.

Pass to Wallace Franklin goes incomplete.

I think this is Jake Williams with the catch

Phillip Bates before the game

Alexander Robinson running with the ball

If you don't mind me asking Wesley, how did you and ISUFan22 get field access for this game? Like the pics a lot.

Re: Some photos from the spring game

im going to be putting pics up later.. from before the game, when the players where playing with the kids in the practice facility

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Nice. Good job.

My avatar is a pic I took from my phone camera at the spring game. Gotta love Cy on a bike.

I was wondering that myself, I saw 22 down there wearing his CF shirt. Maybe you just have to have a big camera? Maybe that's why my Sony Cybershot never got me down there...

Oh... people will come Mr. Pollard. People will most definitely come.

No, I don't live in Seattle anymore, I'm back in Des Moines but I don't feel like changing my username.

Bo should get cornrows

Thank you Wes Johnson for the great 2 years you gave Iowa State. Wish you could've stayed. Best of luck to you, wherever you end up.

"The one thing I really want to say is to tell the fans thank you for everything," Johnson said. "You rooted for me, you were behind me with my injury, and I really appreciated that."

Great shots as usual Wes! :)

Here are some of mine - I couldn't get nearly as close without the super-zoom lens Wes totes about.

As the old adage says:

"It's not what you know. It's who you know."

22, nice shots of ARob breaking the pylon

We all remember making fun of our little brother. And then that day came when you looked at him and thought "Crap, when did he become taller than me?" There comes a time when you just know your time has passed and it's their spotlight now.

Wow, those who were complaining about the state of the field were right! I never knew turf could look so bad!

Can't wait until football!

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.

Oh yeah, the field was horrid. It looks better in the photos than it really was like. Not sure how to describe it - but when we got out on it after the "game", I was amazed how bad it was.
