Minor Detail...

I know this is trivial, but thought I would ask. I noticed the football players in the poster are wearing white shoes, instead of black. Was this for the picture only, or are we going to this look. In my opinion black is the only way to go. White shoes just make a team look soft. Like I said, I know this is a minor detail, but I was curious.

Minor...I have a strong opinion about wearing white shoes for football. Lets say its right up there with 1978 Boston Celtic basketball shorts.

Not only that, but black makes the runners appear slower than they really are. Black would be an advantage as defenders would be slower to notice cutbacks. We need every advantage we can get.

I think they will stick with black shoes.

White shoes will not stay white when you play on a natural grass field.

Pretty sure they are wearing white shoes! Actually for the poster- nike only have one new jersey and one pair of new shoes for the photo so the players all wore the same...as you can tell if you take a close look the guy to the right of Jesse Smith (center) has very large size 13 shoes on and he really wears a size 9...(i talked to the guy who helped make the posters)

Wearing black shoes is an advantage because you look slower -- and because nobody knows that and doesn't know how to adjust.

Of course, if everyone wears black shoes then that's normal and everyone's used to that, which means wearing white makes you look faster than expected which will make the D worry about you.

Maybe the offense should wear black and the defense wear white.

Oh -- and by the way -- keep this secret so nobody knows our secret plan to rule the world.


OK -- enough attempts at humor. I personally like white shoes--I just think it looks cool.
